Black Women in Business Spotlight: Featuring Deme Thomas
As we continue our Black Women in Business Spotlight series in honor of Black History Month, EmpowHERment is excited to welcome Deme Thomas, also known as WaistbeadsbyD, on February 27th!
Deme is a passionate entrepreneur, holistic healer, and longtime EmpowHERment supporter whose work centers around divine connection, chakra balancing, and intentional healing. Through her business, she offers beautifully crafted, blessed Waistbeads from Ghana, each infused with purpose and meaning. Her work empowers women to embrace self-love, confidence, and spiritual alignment through the sacred tradition of waistbeads.
During this workshop, Deme will share her entrepreneurial journey, the significance of waistbeads in holistic healing, and how intentional adornment can foster self-empowerment. This is an opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate a local Black woman in business who is making an impact in our community.
